 The National Institute of Technology  Warangal (NIT-Warangal or NIT-W) is a public specialized and research college situated in Warangal, India. It is perceived as an Establishment of Public Significance by the Public authority of India. The establishment stone for this foundation was laid by then Top state leader Jawaharlal Nehru on 1959, the principal in the chain of 31 NITs (previously known as RECs) in the country.[3] The organization was renamed as the Public Foundation of Innovation, Warangal in 2002.

Project title:

Development of Al alloy based FGM for High Temperature Aerospace Applications using Laser Direct Energy Deposition

Position Title:  Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 

Duration (in years) : Three (03) years 

Essential qualification 

First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10point scale in M.Tech. in Manufacturing / Production / Materials Technology / Welding Technology / CIM / Materials and Systems Engineering Design / Powder Metallurgy or relevant program of Mechanical with a relevant degree in B.Tech. with First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale    

 NET/GATE Qualified  

Desired qualification : 

• M.Tech. With knowledge in additive manufacturing, welding and welding metallurgy will be given preference  
• Should be able to work in a team and must have good communication skills. 

Emoluments :  Rs. 31000 + HRA per month for the first two years  

Age  • 28 years 

Age Relaxation :  As per norms and guidelines 

Job Nature: Execute the objectives of the Research project.
