Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) 2020-21

 PM's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) was presented from the Academic year 2006-07 to support higher specialized and expert training for the needy wards of Ex Servicemen/Ex Coast Guard work force and their widows. 

Grants Available 

A complete number of 5500 wards/widows of Ex-servicemen are chosen for grant in every scholastic year. 

Grants are similarly separated among young men and young ladies for example 2750 each. 

Grants are paid for a time of one to five years according to the length of the courses affirmed by the concerned administrative bodies. 

Grant sum is paid every year to the chose understudies. 

Measure of Scholarship: 

Rs. 2500/ - pm For Boys 

Rs. 3000/ - pm For Girls 

Understudies Eligible for Scholarship 

Understudies who have taken affirmation in first year (aside from Lateral Entry and Integrated Course) are simply qualified to apply for PMSS. 

Understudies ought to have scored 60% or more in Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ) for example 10+2/Diploma/Graduation.

Qualified Courses 

The Eligibility Criteria for PMSS Courses are As Under : 

First Professional Degree Courses like BE, B Tech, BDS, MBBS, B Ed, BBA, BCA, B Pharma, and so on properly perceived by the separate Government Regulatory Bodies, for example, All India Council for Technical Education, Medical Council of India, UGC and so on 

Expert Degree Courses are not qualified for PMSS aside from MBA/MCA Courses.
