Nit surat pronounces phd admission jan 2021 with institute assistantship

 Surat, 21 november 2020:  sardar vallabhbhai countrywide institute of generation (svnit), surat, an institute of country wide significance, has invited applications for phd programmes for january 2021 consultation. Institute fellowship blessings are to be had to complete time phd scholars. Full time institute studies scholars (fir) taking admission in phd packages in engineering, sciences, english and control should have certified gate/internet/cat examinations, at the least as soon as, in an academic career. Normal complete-time students can be awarded scholarship / assistantship as in step with mhrd / institute recommendations. 

The institutes  offer phd programmes below the following classes:  (a) complete-time institute research scholars (fir); (b) full-time research students and paid by way of authorities/semi-authorities company / qip / efip (frs); (c) complete-time sponsored candidate (fsc); (d) component-time institute faculty and staff (pis); (e) part-time project workforce (ppf); (f) component-time external candidates (p. C); (g) complete-time self-financed candidate (fsf); (h) full-time take a look at leave candidate (fsl).


Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 25 November 2020.

Online Written Test for All Departments : 15 December  2020

Online Interviews for All Departments : 16 December  2020


Application Fees: The candidates applying for admission in Ph.D programme for 2020 academic session will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000(for OP/OB) and Rs. 500 (for SC/ST) through the online payment portal of the institute.


The notification mentioned that only those candidate who have successfully defended M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc./M.Phil./M.A. thesis will be allowed to appear for the Ph.D. interview. In case of the candidates whose qualifying degree results are not declared, they have to submit their final results by 15th September/15th February for admissions in Autumn /spring semesters respectively.
